In My Neighborhood

I'm back in Canada in Belleville, Ontario. I got here last Monday (Mar 3rd) and it snowed that night about 6 inches. The above picture shows the parking lot shortly after it started.

Yesterday and last night the clouds dumped another foot. It is after 2 PM here as I write this and it is only 19F outside. It's the biggest storm of the winter and it had to wait until I got here!

This is the same area of the parking lot just a few minutes ago.

We have more on the way on Tuesday, I'm told. Weather in Tacoma is rainy and cool, but at least you don't have to shovel it.

Hope you all are doing well!

Spoke to my folks, just down the 401 from you, and they're housebound for now. My pals in the Ottawa Valley are yelling, "Uncle!"

For Ontario to be setting snowfall records...well...it makes my knees shake, remembering my first winter there!

Stay warm...stay inside!

BBBRRRRRR!! I can feel the temperature dropping just looking at the photos you have posted. Keeping warm is a good thing. Glad I live right here in the "tropics". Will stay here too. :)

It's 5:50 AM as I type this. It's only 7 degrees F outside. I came prepared for March, not this. It's gonna be a long two months!

Yikes! My relatives live in Ohio where they got slammed like this, too. It must be weird to see the calendar (3/10) and this winter blast at the same time!

Brrrr... I'll give it to your brother, you can handle some frigidity with good humor... being from Houston, Texas, I know that I got to show you a whole lot of love... so here's to your creativity and warm heart...
