Dreams
Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do. Don't bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself. William Faulkner
Last night as we were drifting off to sleep, Charles told me that if he dies before I do, he wants me to move to Jubilee (the retirement community near Lacey)...
Then in my sleep I had a dream that I was in a huge crowd that had gathered in the woods to hear Donald Trump speak.
Donald picked me out of the crowd and said I looked so sad, he wondered what was wrong.
I told him my husband was dying.
The Donald offered me a carton of yogurt (a quart-size carton) and said for me not to worry, that he’d make sure I never ran out of yogurt.
A week or so later, Donald returned to check on me to see how I was doing. He was astonished I had finished the entire carton of yogurt already, but he reassured me he would continue to provide me as much yogurt as I would need for the rest of my life, no matter how much it would take.
what part of the male side in you does the Trump image represent... his take charge attitude, his power, his control of resources in people...
does the yogurt strike you as being nourishing, nurturing, good for you, indifferent in terms of your health...
could your inner being be saying that you will always have within you the resources to take charge, to control, to manage
I think our inner resources-- calling us to receive positive and negative feedback courageously and yet critically, to accept that each one of us has the powers to receive experience, analyze what we have received deeply, figure out various ways to move on with our lives, choose one of those ways, try it, re-evaluating, and keep trying... while always choosing to let the beauty and ugliness within us and around us fashion us into more beautiful human beings...
to sum up... I think you were told that you will continue to become the person you were born to be if you trust your inner self and follow its inspirations...
Tracy, is this one of your pics that you've played with? There's an incredible mood about the colouring...great pairing with the quote. Quite a "dreamscape"!

What does it all mean?

was any of the above helpful... Joseph
The beautiful picture held my attention and the quotation is much appreciated... thank you,
Joseph
Hey Tracy!
Great to see your writing again, and as usual, your awesome photos.
How are d'mountains? How's Greenwater?
Missed you!
Kim
Good in-depth analysis, Oneal.
I hadn't figured out that much about it.
The only insight I had into the dream was that the yogurt presumably represents currency.
Maybe Trump represented God in the dream, that He would supply all my needs.
Weird... Just plain weird.
God.. inner spirit... desire to live... they are all connected
I consider God to be the Spirit who supports, directs, and sustains me...
Thanks for sharing your dream...
Joseph
Beautiful picture, Tracy. Reminds me of Three Cups of Tea which I am just finishing up and want to write a review about.
Tracy, is this one of your pics that you've played with? There's an incredible mood about the colouring...great pairing with the quote. Quite a "dreamscape"!
