It is 43 degrees in Gig Harbor and our Christmas snow is rapidly melting away into a memory that will no doubt be shared with children and grandchildren for the lifetime of those old enough to appreciate the beauty and challenges of what we've just experienced. I thought I'd share a few more pictures taken by Peacock Hill resident Jo Lucas. Ignore the screwy date on pictures. They are from this month.

Boy...that house looks tiny! LOL
Seriously though, my fave is the one with the bench...that's a good locale for four seasonal shots, methinks.
Pretty window...oh I'm still in a purple haze about photographs...but I'm welcoming the rain like a true mossback!!
I am with you on the bench and the rain, Loraine! We've been treated to great photo opportunities this month, but I welcome the rain as well.
Let it rain, let it pour, let it melt!
They're all beautiful (Jo's pictures) but the last one is absolutely timeless.
I agree, Mizu. I think it would make an awesome Christmas card.
Thanks for delighting my eyes and my soul
Joseph
I wish I had the skill to capture that bench in all the phases I've enjoyed. When I look out my back window at the woods the light coming through the leaves seems to shimmer, but when I try to capture the look on film the result always falls short of my vision. Your comments have warmed my heart. Thank you.
Your pictures have delighted ours, Jo!
