Unusual Sight, Saturday Afternoon

I just wanted to give a big shout-out to the chap who was "herding" mama and baby geese off the westbound lanes of Highway 16 around 2pm yesterday (Sat.) and a big cheer to the three police cars who held back the traffic. YAY!! Who was that masked man?

Like your post on our motto, it is wonderful to have a chance to meditate on what is really important in our lives. Staying connected with Mother Nature (and not with a car bumper)is so important.

Every now and then we human beings do come together to help life keep living, huh... kudos to the masked stranger (probably Lash LaRue resurrected) the police persons, and you for keeping our eyes on the prize

I was going to make a guess it was Jay Silverheels and Clayton Moore - but darn, then I read your blog again and there appears to be only one gentleman involved...

Who ever that "masked" man was, kudos to him, where ever he may be!

Lorraine... any kudos today... Aaron from our computer help desk, sat with me with my five year old laptop (who knows how this story will end)... after an hour, he had changed this and that, but my sweet computer (we have been here and there and everywhere in the USA) just couldn't get up the strength to jump through the electronic hoops... so, thank you Aaron R for taking your time...
Here's to you and other caring, patient persons...

Joseph! You must have picked up the same vibration as I did this morning. I thought of someone I want to commend for being a caring person.

Everyday I leave for work around 6:45 AM. The high school students are congregating at bus stops since the bus comes by our neighborhood just before 7. In the winter it's a caution which I've written about before. This year I've noticed a dad (I assume he's a dad) standing out along 40th on the opposite side of the road from a bus stop where there's a lot of students and cars come whizzing by much too fast. He just stands there, rain or shine, with his mug of coffee, silenting keeping watch over the kids. Here's to you, Unknown Dad. I hope they're very good to you on Sunday!
