A Hopeful Start To A Bright Fourth

I'm glad that my occupation does not involve forecasting the weather. This is often which a thankless job in Puget Sound and vicinity, and practicing professionals must be on guard for seasonal pelting showers of polite jibes, bolder hoots of displeasure or even fresh fruit.

But hope still springs "red, white & blue" in the beating breast of every true Pacific Northwest patriot. So when the pages of the calendar turn to July fourth and firework displays toasting the birth of the nation fill our evening skies I'm certain many of us send humble requests aloft regarding an appearance of the sun and crystal clear night skies. And earlier this morning when I turned my camera skyward it certainly appeared that Nature herself was intent upon dolling-up for the festivities!
