Locally Based Global Relief Agency Offers Insight on AIDS Impact

World Vision is a Christian based,  international relief, advocacy and development agency that is located right here in Federal Way. They have created an exhibit called World Vision Experience: AIDS that explores the impact of AIDS on African children. The long-running and free exhibit will be in the Tacoma area beginning at the end of this week and will be available for viewing until early August. Thank you for posting this information Kim. This many years later...and as much as we say talking about AIDS is no longer taboo...it still seems an off-limit subject for discussion. Compassion can never be off-limits, if we are to keep our moral compasses intact. I feel our family understands the struggle of dealing with diseases that have a social stigma, due to a lack of understanding about the disease itself, because of Anna's invisible struggle with chronic Lyme. I want the world to know about her (and so many others!) fight, therefore I understand and support, whole-heartedly, this agency's goal of bringing us such vital information about our world.
