National security debate

How often do you think about national security? More often than you'd like to, I'd guess -- you're reminded of it every time you go to the airport and almost every time you turn on the news. We don't want to have to think about this every single minute, and we shouldn't have to -- we pay good tax money so that other people can worry about all that for us.

Thursday, Sep 26, we'll be gathering at Elmer's on Hosmer to hear what the current presidential candidates have to say on the subject. After all, we're going to be paying them to take care of it! The event is free of charge, and food and drinks are pay-as-you-go. Please RSVP if you plan to come, so we can adjust accordingly. Call 253-507-9460 if you have any questions at all!

Cheers,

~~Cheryl

Hey people, wake-up and smell the real risk to you and everybody else that drives in U.S. highway traffic....It's the highway deaths, injuries, and dollar losses that happen every day, and it's almost never talked about every time you turn on the news.

So, what's the current presidential candidates have to say about reducing the real and present risks right now?

Cheryl: thanks for keeping us up on the gatherings... I am sincerely concerned that we are focused too much on our hurts and not enough on what our children will need if they are going to have a globe to live on

Thank you, Cheryl. Posts such as this, telling about community events, are how I see the Neighborhood being the most effective.
