Fellow Virgo, Joseph McG!

I am not super fancy with videos or pics, and my singing skills, well, they leave little to be desired. But, I love words, and dig groovy people, like my fellow Virgo, blogger, friend, and teacher, Joseph. Happy birthday Joseph, keep on keeping on and keeping it real! This song is for you and The Neighborhood--here's to continued learning, loving, life!

Kim, Kim, Kim... thank you so much... I remember this about student teacher relationship... how often I became a better person when I taught when the rapport between myself and my student became so real that I could smile a little more honestly and walk a little taller...
I don't know about that teacher thing... me as teacher... I do know that you are a splendid writer, a human being very much caught up in loving deeply and loyally your family and friend, and you have a wonderful sense of humor... and each time I read one of your posts, I am challenged to write better, to love deeper, and to laugh way, way down deep inside...
so Virgo, thanks for the post and the video (one of my favorite songs and how you knew that, well... VIRGO POWER
and to all who read this blog and the blog squad...
as Louis Armstrong would say... "Love, baby, love..."

With all my love to Kim, the blog squad, and all who love meandering through the neighborhood...

This is Joseph, over and out,
on this September 9th date
when I turn sixty eight

Joseph

And birthday party post II will be coming out later this week... folks surprised me with a party downstairs this morning... and by four thirty... (surprise party with staff; supportive gathering with students; lunch with an absolutely splendid (bright, compassionate, committed to the message of serving others) lady...
I was limping and smiling...
Putting my foot up now... Joseph
