Musical Opportunities at GHHS

Gig Harbor High School’s award winning choirs will perform their final concert tomorrow, June 2nd in the school auditorium at 7 PM. Admission is free. Choir Master Wayne Lackman delivers a wonderful performance year after year, his choirs competing around the world and winning awards. If you enjoy music, young people, and inexpensive cultural events, come to Gig Harbor High School Monday night.

Tuesday night Gig Harbor will be the scene of the Tides band concert. The jazz and concerts bands, under the direction of Band Master Nancy Sheng, will be performing at the same location as above on Tuesday, June 3rd, at 7 PM. Admission to that event is also free.

I love reading about promoting kids and their great achievements and interests.

Seems like you have a neat school out there!

There are many exceptional teachers in the Peninsula School District and at GHHS. The Performing Arts teachers are particularly good and I love high school theater. Neighborhood high school theater is a lovely way to get a theater fix at little or no expense. Already my husband wants to know the performance dates for next year!
