Writers! Time To Retreat To Federal Way's Dumas Bay Centre

Local writers in need of respite and inspiration need wait only weeks for A Writer's Retreat at Dumas Bay Centre on April 25 & 26 in the beautiful, emerging civic center of Federal Way, WA.

A full day and a half of programing beginning at noon on Friday, April 25 and concluding on Saturday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. to build-up and restore those creative juices needed to revive your writing to optimum levels will unfold at the centre alongside the east shores of South Puget Sound for the low price of $75.00 (conference only) or $125.00 (conference and overnight lodging).

Guest speakers ministering to your literary and craft requirements include Elizabeth Lyon, author and independent book editor; Nancy Bartley, author and reporter for The Seattle Times; Heather Larson, freelance writer; Terry Persun, poet, novelist and award-winning author; and Jacquie Rogers, novelist.

Conference fees cover all of the following : programs, Friday lunch, opening reception and dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch. According to the official event flyer, retreat meals will be prepared by a gourmet chef and single rooms while dorm style, are set in a restful, retreat-like setting. A limited number of double rooms are available.
