I was deeply moved by the music presented by Bora Ju and her friends.
In the video below, she sings and plays Hanobaeknyeon, which was composed by Lee Gun-Young on the 25 string-gayageum.

Thank you, Joseph, for exposing me to something new. Before we were married my husband was stationed in Korea for two years, but I know nothing about the culture. Now I know a little something.

Simply beautiful...wish my computer wasn't stopping and starting, so I could enjoy the piece without interruption. It sounds very western in its movements...the eastern scale is quite different. Nice weaving of styles!
