The Lyrical View of Snow and Ice

When Mother Nature does her artistic thing during severe weather such as we've been having this week, through the eyes of a hand-held camera, it's also possible to discover a momentary bit of beauty and repose!

I don't often like snow...but I have to admit, this was beautiful...probably because I did not have to go out in it!

January started out soooo busy, and this was the perfect chance to hibernate and watch nature. Is there anything more beautiful than a bald eagle, flying through big, fat, fluffy flakes? I don't think so. Nice pix!
